I don't have the answer but is there any reason you can't just solder it back together? I guess for 15.00, I wouldn't bother but if I needed the 120.00 harness, I would be heating up the iron now...

Same thing happened to me. Just cut out that bad section of wire(s) and spliced/soldered some new wire in.

did you blow any fuses?

i havent checked the fuses yet

my light only works when i hit the brakes, when im off the brakes the entire tail light is dead , so im assuming the wires that got cut were the tail light section. i dont think i blew any fuses

I believe 16 is just the rubber molding that has 2 way tape to stick to the fender...I had same issue all I did was buy trailer wire and rewire bad section and relocate behind strut leg never had a issue since..

Same kind of thing happened to me on my WG. Simply cut out the bad part and splice. Add some length to tuck it up somewhere and keep it out of the way of the wheel. Should be a cheap fix. Mine was like $5 in wire.

get some shrink wrap and run it around your inner strut support run the wires though that... much better and never have to worry about it again!

what do you mean just wrap it around the support bracket? (the fender plate that the screws go into that hold the fender on)
