That's right.. I ordered the 2014 fat bob rear fender and tail light to install on to my 2010 fat bob. I know a lot of you hate it, but I dig it...

Should take a few weeks to get here, and the fender should bolt right up with (hopefully) no issues. My biggest concern is the 2014 tail light. I have the tri-bar led on my bike now, but the 2014 look like it uses a different plug, based on the parts diagram. I'm not sure if that's related to the can-bus system it uses...I don't believe it is, however. Either way, I'm determined to make it work.

You should have saved your money and chopped your fender and just order the tail light.
It the same fender just with the end chopped off!

Yes eventually I'm gonna sell my existing fender and tri-bar light. Boy let me tell you that new led light ain't cheap.

I thought about cutting mine but it's actually more cost effective just buying it painted from H-D.

Trying to find some pics of the fender in vivid black, which is the color it will be.

What are you planning for the seat? I really dislike our FB seat. I like the look of the CVO FB. But I wanted it in black. So the closest thing I could find was the stock WG seat.

 

that's right. IMO FB's seat is too bulky and hard to reach forward control with my small posture
