Apparently it is one or the other, no way to have both. I really love the way these fork shrouds make the front end look, and I dont see any issue of saying goodbye to the front fender.

Is there any reason I should think twice about getting rid of the front fender?

Judging by your picture though, it's rainy season where you live (or it just rained that day, I don't know), and if you're gonna be riding without a fender, you better take a full face helmet too, or you'll be cleaning sh** of your face after every ride.

I know this because I don't have a front fender either...

yup water in the face at about 40mph ... I bear with it tho cause I luv the look.

will probably shave it and put it back one day. ...
