Default Hardly any Dyna's

Spent a few days in Milwaukee celebrating the 110th. Saturday night, on Brady Street, there were bikes lined up, parked for block after block. I'll bet 95% of them were baggers. Almost no Dynas or Sportsters. Didn't bother me, but I was surprised at the numbers.

By the way, Milwaukee was a great time!

Marketing ploy. MoCo makes the most profit with the bigger models, don't they?

The street glide was the best selling model of 2013 and years before that as well. Shouldn't be much of a surprise really

No surprize there. Always see a ton of street glides and electra glides at every rally. And as said before street glides are routinely the best sellers. After riding one yesterday ill still take my wide glide anyday.

Default Baggers

Most of the people I know don't take really long trips on a dyna...I have done it but a road couch would be much better for a long haul.

That's exactly why me and the ol' lady won't own a bagger. Even took the bags off our Wideglide that came with them, even though they were kind of handy. It was never our ambition to be 99.9 percenters.

Ya can strap on about anything you need with bungee cords, and honestly, you'll get a lot more kudos for doing that than by driving just another bagger.

"Road Couch"? Why not just drive your car?

I know what you mean. Got there Thursday afternoon and it was quite a while before I saw another Dyna. Hell, it was the day I left before I saw another newer wide glide! It was pretty funny watching some people leaving the festival grounds and getting on the wrong bikes being so many baggers that looked alike.
