Default Le Pera solo seat confusion

Jeez... it's hard to make an informed decision on buying something that is NOT returnable if you mount it and try it out.

I want to get a little closer to the controls while NOT crushing my nuts, and at the same time NOT feel like I'm going to fly off the back of the bike upon acceleration.

Note... I will also be lowering the back end 1" using Progressive 11" 412's.

Options:

Bare Bones
Bare Bones Up Front
Silhouette
Silhouette Deluxe
Sanora Sport

Any knowledge of these seats, guidance, or advice is greatly appreciated.

I think that I am going to go for mustang vintage solo and get some risers. I was getting numb nuts with the le pera bare bones up front. Hot spots are nuts and the top of tailbone where the lip of the lumber section is. I rode for about 100 miles so far and can't take it. Some riders love this seat. I might sell mine but most likely company will take it back- it is not altered in any way.

Those "hot spots" are because the "bucket" of the seat is small to move you forward.

My understanding is that seats are NOT returnable once they have been mounted.

I'm waiting for a reply email from Le Pera.

I pretty much expressed the same concerns in the opening post in an email to them.

I am also trying to get the dimensions of the Silhouette Deluxe and the Sanora Sport.

I got the dimensions of my other three possible choices.

Hopefully I get an answer tomorrow.

Don't get bare bones based on your criteria.

I have a bare bones on a 2010 wideglide, quality is a 10, I can reach pegs a little easier, Although its awful flat and you will slide back on HARD acceleration. ITs VERY uncomfortable past 100 miles. BUT Its the best seat for the look I wanted and I switch it out when I take long trips.

I'm thinking the Silhouette Deluxe or the Sanora Sport might do the trick since they are nice and narrow, yet seem to have a tiny bit of back support...
