I have to get used to, it is different from heel toe shift on floorboard due to different angle.
It's always fun but you got to watch, you might accidentally downshift when you don't want to after a few beer, been there done that lol.

What bike do u have those on and do u think they would work on a fat bob with forward controls

Yes, I have the same on my 09 Fatbob with forwards.
