Switchback is burning (literally) my leg...any thoughts?

Fans, exhausts, air cleaners, tuners... none of that is going to fix the hot leg issue on a switchback. The problem is the cat right where the pipe goes 2-1.
I have a V&H Twin Slash slip-on and XIED's installed. Its hard to say for sure, since I only recently installed both and the temp is down here in the NE but I barely feel any engine heat. Not to mention a nice increase in smoothness and responsiveness of the engine.
Stock 2012 switchback, live in south Georgia. No such excessive heat problems with mine. unfortunately your dealer will probably tell you that's normal, but you aught to take it in.
I have the same problem on my 2013 I put a 10 vein jags cooler on it, but the shin on my right leg will slow cook, and a recent ride for over 200 miles I had a spot on my right shin about 4 inches around and the skin was peeling off, its like a frog sitting in water pan you boil it and does not notice.... you will later..
Just drench the bike in water that will cool it down.....NOT. KIDDING. do not do that. I would suggest changing out the pipes? My switchback ran hot stock as well, but not enough to make a mark. Chanded the pipe and air intake and now I'm golden.

exactly...the cat is where the heat is, do a tank lift too and it gets even better
changed my pipes after first 300 miles so I never had the problem
