So mojo6677 and I got together for a ride up to the Sandia Crest (which overlooks Albuquerque) before it gets too cold and/or shut down for the winter, not sure when that happens. But giving that temps have been plummeting and the amount of precipitation we've had this year. I figured it will be soon. The Sandia Crest is 10,678ft up a nice curvy road with 40-20mph curves round trip. Truly a fun ride. Given the low amount of traffic on a Tuesday afternoon, we were able to boogy up and down at our discretion and not held back by slow traffic. It was an exhilerating ride! Here are the pictures:

Thanks all! It was great to get out and ride some awesome motorcycles and a better brother! Next plan is the Gillman Tunnels...That is after my monthly CVMA meeting out to Las Cruces and back.

I used to ride northern NM every summer when visiting a friend in Santa Fe. The Jemez is great riding, also liked the ride out 104 to lake Conchas.
