Default Goodbye Street Bob...

Hey all, considering I have been in and out of this forum so long I thought I would drop a note to let you know I traded in my Bob for a 2014 Road King. Just couldn't resist the improvements this year.

I'm considering doing the exact same thing....only for a silver one.

I love my Street Bob, but my next bike will be a Road King.

Been there. Did that. RK are great bikes, true. Depends on your mission. Over the road long hauls, two up doesn't matter as long as pillion isn't a lard ***. Very stable. One handed ridng at 80 MPH no problem. As my longest rides shrunk in distance and duration I founf myself riding less and less. Storm Sandy washed the RK away or I would have never sold it. The FXDC has renewed my interest in riding. Take it on errands and on one hour jaunts to the ocean. The difference in weight is startling. I would own another Road King (or Street/Road Glide) but would keep the Super Glide too.
