Default Fluid in 2011 Dynaglide Forks

Found the right front fork leaking like a sieve the other day so decided to change seals in both forks. Looked in the 2011 service manual and it calls for over 28 ounces.........so off to dealer to order parts and get fluid...no one there was sure of what amount to put in the forks....but they settled on about 14 ounces.....but from what I have read, that's wrong...some say 3 pints should do both forks but then others say its more.....
I even found differing measurements too.
Then I check the manual for the right height when installing the forks back in the trees....picture shows measurement taken at the machined flat on the fork caps but manual says from top of cap and .450 to .500....so I measure from the top of the cap and get .540.....not even right from factory...I can't wait to see how much fluid is actually in the forks..
I'm gonna put SE heavy in..

Superglide should be around 26oz per tube, not divided by two.

Make sure when you have it all apart you make sure neither fork tube is bent. One of mine was and that's why one of my seals was out.

Why are you putting SE haevy in? You want to slow the dampening?
