Totally dead battery 2013 FXDWG
Sooo I apparently left my switch on IGN earlier today. Either that or someone switched it when I left. I could swear I switched it off first instead of using the kill switch on the handle today though.
I went to move it to my garage (about 8 hours later or so) when I noticed the position and there was nothing on the panel. The only thing I could get out of it was the time and mileage. Eventually I got a "V Inner" code. Shortly after that I got nothing at all.
I know I can just connect my truck battery to it and jump it. Is there a chance I can jump it tomorrow morning and ride a couple hours and get a good charge? I was planning on cruising an hour away to pickup my buddy's Harley charger and putting it on when I got home.
Also, do you think it'll even start? It's night right now and pointless to start it up right now.
Thanks for any help!

Save tiem and money, an hour there and back is 2 plus gas. Go to any Farm store or most auto parts stores. Buy a "Battery Tender" charger, the 1 that looks like a 2x3 black box you plug in the wall with a charge cord. They are only $39 in my area of the country. They come with a pig tail to add to your bike. Leave the plug end out where it won't get burnt and is easy to access without removing the seat. Install per instructions and plug your charger in. When you expext to leave it for extended periods, plug in your charger. It will extend the life of your battery.

Although I highly reccomend using one as a battery tender is great for maintaining a charge but its not the best option for recharging a dead battery. You can jump your bike with an auto battery just make sure the vehicle isn't running. Check your owners manual for instructions

Thanks folks!
I ended up hooking my truck battery to it. After a few attempts to start, with still not enough juice, I let it sit while having a smoke. I finished the cig and gave it one last go. She fired up. I just got done riding an hour to my buddy's place and picking up his charger.
