Default fork width

I have a 07 Lowrider I got about 2 months ago and I am not sure if the forks are stock or not. They seem wider than I remember my 02 Lowrider being. I know the forks are 49mm but they seem farther apart. Can anybody give me a measurment of there wide glides or any other Dyna's Thanks much

08 FXDL: 6 1/2" between the fork tubes...and I see in the parts book that the trees have an -08 suffix, which means they are different than 07 in some way

In '06 Dyna's went to a mid-glide front end rather than the narrow-glide of the earlier bikes. The fork tubes are a little further apart and of a larger diameter (49mm??I think).

I measured mine a while ago, if I remember right the standard Dynas '06 and newer are around 8.5" apart, and the wide glides are about 10" apart. The '06 up are definitely wider than the '05 and older, not sure by how much though. I can measure mine tonight when I get home to get exact measurements if you want. My Super Glide should be the same width as a stock '07 Low Rider.

My 07 measures about 6 3/4"" . It just looks wider than what I remember my 02 Lowrider looking like. So I am guessing everything is stock. And yes them being 49 mm might make it look alot wider to.

You can do away with the Mr. LOL That must be why it looks wider that my last Lowrider, because it is . You say 5" between the fork of an 02 and my 07 is about 6 3/4" between. That 1 1/2" makes a big difference in looks and it does not have the hood over the headlight either, which also makes the front of the bike look alot different.
Thanks guys Clap
