I'm cutting up my '12 Wide Glide and changing up the frame and a bunch of stuff. I'm building a tank for it, but to use the Sportster fuel pump, I'm limited to size and shapes that it will fit in. I've been thinking about using an external pump and regulator because it will open up a lot of options for a tank. I'll have to try to hide the pump and regulator. Has anyone used an external pump? Any feedback on how it worked?
