Default Did i do this right? Rifle fairing installation.

So I finally found some time to make an attempt at installing my faring. As I have been previously warned, it came with the world's crappiest instructions. However using photos from a previous thread that I read on this forum I was able to make some progress. I initially installed it with the quarter inch spacer on top of the relocation bracket, however this didn't look quite right and things seemed a little bit off. I disassembled everything and put the quarter inch spacers below the relocation bracket as can be seen in the pictures below. Things seem to be lining up a bit better but had to head into work before I could finish. Just wondering from other members if this is how they set theirs up.

I found the instructions OK, but the hardware that Rifle included was really low quality and poorly chosen.

You did install yours correctly as was intended.

there are a few different ways that i have seen people mount their rifles. how you did it looks good to me man. if it where mine i would replace that white plastic cap thing with a small rubber washer on both sides and stainless machine screw with stainless nylock nuts. it's cleaner looking. you just see the machine screw head and a little bit of rubber washer rather than the plastic thing.
the kit show's one support at bottom centre of fairing but i did mine like yours but mounted it to the HD quick release clamps top and bottom.
mine is on a 49mm but i would assume it would be similar to the others.
cheers.

This thread was a big help, Im installing mine now, and I think I could do it better if the instruction they sent were in Russian.

For a company that makes a really nice product, you would think a manual would come with it that has pics rather than drawings from a three year old!
