Default Street Bob's, how much rise w/stock cables/wires?

How much rise/ape height have you guys been able to achieve without changing the cables or wires? Had 12 in Burly narrow bottom apes with 2 in risers on my Super Glide, and it fit me very well, could ride all day without a problem. Would like to put the same setup on my new Street Bob (2014, so I can add regular risers), but don't want to get into cables and wires right now.
Thanks.

I just threw a set of 12" burlys on stock risers on my 13 SB.. was a bit of a juggle, had to reroute a few things but overall it works fine, just had to unlatch the throttle cable from that black metal latch/holder thingy on the upper tree. Had it for a week and done around 1000km's... no issues.

Slammer kit's next!

I added a 1 1/2' spacer to my stock risers on my '13 SB with no problems. I just changed that out for 12" MX T Bars and no problems with the cables and wires. I found a lot of extra wire inside the top tube hidden away.

Thanks guys!
Have a set of 2 in risers I think I will use when the bike gets here, but I plan to change to 14 in. black Burly narrow apes eventually without the 2 in risers.

The stock bars are around 10" and the stock risers are around 2". With the stock setup you have room to play on the cables and hoses, and a ton of wire slack in the top tube that is tucked away. You even have room to play with the cables and brake hose so you should be fine going a couple inches over stock.

Awesome, I should have said I have 2 in. riser extensions, so I should be good. I had the 12 in. Burly's on my Super Glide, and the rise and pullback were just perfect for me with the 2 in. extensions, so I may change the bars out sometime. Will see how they feel with the stock bars. I noticed the factory ones seem to turn back a bit more at the grips. Weather here sucks, so I didn't really get a good chance for the feel on a test drive.
