Default HD Windshield with passing lamps

Does anyone have experience with the HD Windshield (57716-01) with passing lamps? I bought the windshield, and the docking kit, but the windshield won't clear the passing lamps on my '05 FXDI.

I've tried adjusting the clamps up and down on the upper fork tubes, but no luck - I can't get them high enough that the windshield won't kit the passing lamps.

I suppose the bottom could be trimmed, but I would have thought that it would fit without modification given it's application...

Anyone run into this and have any advice?

Thanks...

No one?
I think I might just send back the widshield and maybe opt for a Memphis Shades instead...

I think you got the wrong windshield. Look at the parts catalog, there is a specific windshield for aux lamps mounting.

Unfortunately this is the model specific for the passing lamps - has the cutout at the bottom to clear them, but it's just not enough...
Part number is correct - I'm thinking that the passing lamps may not be - the previous owner installed them, so that's the only thing I can think of...

I have the windshield and the correct passing lamps and they fit fine. Maybe the lights are not stock. You can't see much in my picture but if you want, I can take some close ups tonight.

SRG60,

Here are some pix from the front and back. the windshield glass is hard to see but if you follow the chrome to the end you can pick it up. Hopes this helps, let me know if you need anything else.
