EBC and Lyndalls seem to get the best reviews.

Welcome to the Forum from Colorado!
EBC HH are the first choice with Lyndalls being a close second.

EBC are great but rough on the rotors.

I read what I can find about specific pads to decide which, and the feature I want most is the best cold stopping - when you grab the brakes when a cage turns in front of you and it's max right now. Some work better when hot - that's a racing pad, and I don't race. I've got Lyndall Z's on my 1200, really like them, EBC (forget which type) on the 883, and Lyndall Golds to put on the Glide this winter. My opinion - Harley pads are just adequate, Lyndalls and EBC are superior. Have a nice smooth feel for normal braking, too. I don't worry about dust or rotor wear, want good stopping and will pay for it.

That's what I use. Pricey, but worth it.
