Default riser bushings

Waiting on some 13" BR apes for my 13 Fat Bob. Will these poly bushings be all I need for the risers?

If you're keeping the stock risers, then yes. Some aftermarket risers mount to the top tree differently, in which case you may need new bolts too.

Thanks. Getting new risers as well. The poly bushings from the stealer look like they got some kind of sleeve on them.Just wondering if there was a difference?

Oh I see what you're saying. Yeah the sleeve is essential. It goes through the centre of the bushings to press against the big washers that go on the ends of the bushings. I'll bet the new poly set comes with its own sleeves & even if it doesn't, you can just re-use the sleeves coming out with your stock ones, they will be the same diameter.

If you are getting 'normal' risers that thread through the bottom like most do you can re-use your stock riser bolts. The new short risers I used during my install had a different design with no threads, which required a new hi tensile bolt with a very low profile head dropped straight through them from the top & fasten with a nut below the triple tree. It was a PITA as the suppliers thought it a great idea to not include nor mention these special bolts. Most likely you'll be fine.

will it matter that I'm going from 5'' risers to 1.5"?

Nope. Your triple tree thickness stays the same.
