Default Looking to go from an Ultra Classic to a Dyna

I'm thinking about trading in my UC for a Dyna, probably a Street Bob. I had a Heritage before the UC, and miss the nimbleness. Has anyone done this, what are your thoughts? I like the look of the SB, don't carry a passenger, and seldom take very long trips.
I am tall, so would add forward controls or highway pegs pretty quickly, but otherwise like the SB as it sits.

I haven't owned a ultra but have ridden a couple baggers and dynas handle awesome. Having all the less weight is great. Test ride one to be sure but it sounds like it's a good choice for your riding habits now. And it will be way better then the soft tail...lol

I had an ultra I was riding for a couple months before I bought my bike. Personally street bobs are way freaking better

I had an Ultra a few years ago. If you're not doing the riding that the Ultra was built for and you like the smaller bike, then get the smaller bike.

Last summer I rode a Limited and loved it and thought it would be my next bike. But then I have a Goldwing also, so I opted for a smaller, easier bike to ride for short rides.

My wife rides her own bike so now we both now have small bikes we can take to go on weekend rides.

I really like my SGC and it will work for the type of riding I do with it. If I want to take a long ride, I ride the Goldwing.

Hope you're happy with what you decide.

I've got a Wide Glide to test ride overnight, and it handles great. I just have a few questions.
Which way would I turn the shocks to soften them? It's like a rigid right now.
How high can I go with bars before I have to change any cables?
It there a way to move the forward controls out, or will I just have to get peg extensions?
