Default Six speed transmission question

Hi Guy's,

New to this forum and hope to get answers and contribute where I have knowledge (which isn't much).

I have just purchased a 2011 FXDC Dyna Super Glide that was kind-of bent up a bit. Basically had to purchase it from a few pictures. Needless to say the pictures were not accurate. When I went to pick the bike up I noticed the rear wheel was leaning to the side considerably. In a hurry, so I loaded it up and was on my 1200 mile trip back home.

Upon inspection I found the eyelet on the back of the transmission that holds the swing-arm pin was broken out all the way across. I am trying to find out what years will interchange with this transmission. I found several empty cases on ebay for 6 speed gear boxes, but was told that Harley changed the length of the cases somewhere around 2009. I can't find any information to say for sure.

I can purchase a new case from HD for around $560 but would prefer to find a good used one. I am hoping that I can find someone that has knowledge about this. I considered welding it but I am fully aware of the problems that a loose swing arm pin can have.

Welcome to HD forums.
This is a link for an online parts finder. Look up your part and compare the number to other model years.

Thanks Nevil,

Those are some much better prices than I was able to get at my local dealer. I used to have a wholesale account set up but was told that Harley stopped all discounts to everyone. The price on that site for the transmission case is $344. I will have to check on shipping though.
