Fair price but the pictures are rather poor.
Most people like pictures that are clear, detailed high pixel & close-up.
The chosen location for the pictures is less than perfect.
If the bike slept outside all those years the condition may not match the miles and maybe that is why the pictures are not clear.
Odd that it reads "Garage kept, one owner Needs a tune-up"
Does that mean there is an issue in how it runs?
A tune-up is rather vague.
Also why would someone post a bike for sale with a damaged seat...a nice used seat from ebay could be purchased and it would avoid having to provide explanations.
There could be a logical reason like someone passed away, went away and a non-riding spouse or family member is selling it but that requires investigation.
It would require some close-up inspection but in general it looks OK.

Yeah by the looks of the wheels it looks like it stays outside which is really a shame...

looks like it'd been kept inside to me. Look at the paint on the tins and the eng, trans, and primary. It doesn't look weathered at all. probably has a dirty driveway. I would hop all over it if I had 7 extra grand sitting around.

That seat looks rough for 3000 miles, on the other hand, it's 10 years old. The close ups don't look too bad, some rust on the clamp bolts.

The ad says "garage kept". I'd jump on it if it was closer to CA. Great starter bike!

Since when did an 88" Harley become a great starter bike? I guess he can buy a sportster after he learns on the fxdx?!?

Dude, I meant a "Starter" to start modding with. Not a beginner bike!

I been laughing since I wrote that, didn't mean to come across cocky. And it was def a joke cause my second favorite hd to ride is a sporty (right behind my fxdx).Whoever buys that bike is gonna go broke paying the ol Harley tax!
