Default Bassani -which type exhaust gaskets?

Just got my Bassani back from my powder coater (going full on gloss black), and looking at the ends of the headers, I'm thinking that maybe I should use tapered gaskets (stock type) instead of the flat type gaskets.

For those of you that have this exhaust which gaskets did you go with?

Are your pipes flat or tapered on the end? If they are rounded, use tapered gaskets, if they are straight cut and flat use flat SE type

Use the tapered gasket. They will seal better on the bassani pipes.
Make sure both head pipes are in the head good. Sometimes the rearward pipe is stubborn.
The flat gaskets are a crush type gasket as where the tapered isn't.

If those are the 1D5250s, Kurt at Bassini told me to use the SE flat type. Hard to tell from your pic, yours don't seem to kick up in the back like mine - I do believe the newer RRs use the tapered.

Here's a pic of the newer (I think) header ends.

i have the RR b1 and i used SE gaskets. truth be told, it had them on there from when i ran straight shots and just re-used them. i figured i'd give it a shot and if it started giving me problems i would swap them out. so far, no issues at all.

Need tapered (stock) gaskets for that head pipe. I have 2 bassanis, the one on the Fat Bob takes SE type, the one on the FXDX (actually a newer pipe) takes tapered
