Finally doing my motor... 117"!
After a lot of researching, debating, and shopping aroundI finally dropped my bike off Monday. Originally I had planned a 107" with crank work, but I ended up going with a 117". Here is a quick list of the build.
Disassembly and rebuild the stock crank true plug and weld, left side timken conversion, reworked heads 2.02int/1.630ex with comp. releases. Revperf 4.125" cylinders and 10.5:1 flat tops, woods 9b cam (chain driven), roller rocker, s&s lifters, pushrods, tts mastertune, etc.
I'm sure there are a couple things I forgot but I'm running the bassani mega power exhaust. Should have it all back mid/end of next week. Definitely post dyno sheets and all that.

Talked to several builders about that and with the hydraulic tensioners the cost vs. Hp gain just didn't make sense. My builder advised me against it saved me $500 bucks. I don't know if gear drives would be better or not but I know I got to use that extra coin on powder coating the rocker covers and other engine components :-)
