My FLD
#3
It's one of two screaming eagle slip on for dynas. I gutted it, put two lollipops in it, fattened up my fuel, made a custom bracket for it, and it sounds and performs *******! I think that huge muffler looks fugly and I took off the sumbich of a vance and hines twin slash muffler. Why do all the FLD mufflers have to be so big?

Another guy on a "girls bike"...... jeez WTF?
I'm kidding odie, the FLD is an awesome scoot no matter what parts you have down there . My SB is just off the road for the winter and I'm already jonesing for a ride(its going to be a long *** winter).
The stock muffler is pathetic...I switched it to a V&H Twin Slash that I love, quiet enough at idle and low revs but it has a nice growl getting on the throttle and gearing down. I hardly ever take the bags off, so too me the pipe doesn't stand out so much.

That's a damn shame I tell you what! Weather for scoot'n is just getting started here. While all you hosers were enjoying those nice summer rides I was parked mostly unless the sun went down (110* not awesome). Now it's my turn to ride as most have to winter their scoots up.

I don't get the girl bike thing. Especially for a Dyna.
I'm glad you like that V&H. I hate riding with my bags. I only have them on for grocery getting and overnight rides. Had to take the windshield off too. I got to the point where I was trying to get rid of the wind buffeting and even went to put lowers on it modified from a Softtail. The combination worked great but it began to look less like a motorcycle with all the garbage on the front. Solution was to strip it down and man up and take the bugs, wind, rain, and everything else to the face like a man
Anywho I enjoy my scoot more than ever now that she's stripped. Never liked my ladies all dressed up anyway. The less on her the better!
