Default Size of Turn Signal Molex Pins

Anyone know the size of the Molex pins used in the turn signal connectors? I want to buy some spares in case I screw up one of the six provided to me in my wiring kit.

I'm not sure... But I do know that I may have messed mine up this weekend. So I, too would appreciate any help. Also, thanks to OP, I now know they are called molex pins.

The parts list with turn signal kit should have the pins listed with a part number. Your dealership likely has them and they are even reasonably priced - I think they were 50 cents apiece. I know because I screwed up a couple of the pins when I did the install on my light kit.

I wanted to buy in bulk off Amazon. However, I bet I could just walk into the Service dept. and ask for some loosies since everyone at the dealer knows me now.

I screwed up three of them. I ended up just splicing the ends of the old wires onto the new ones. Done.

The trick with the Molex connector is to trim off only about 1/8th of an inch of insulation, insert the wire and then clamp the first set of clips to the exposed wire and and second set of clips to the insulation. Makes a very tight connection and the Molex connector fits into the wire block properly.

Do you need a special crimper? or would a pair of lineman's pliers be sufficient?

I did about 3/16" instead of a 1/8". Maybe that was the trouble. I like to do things proper so I may redo everything. There was plenty of extra wire. I'm wondering if I even need to lengthen the wires in the first place. Oh well.

I think the linemans pliers are going to be to big. I use a wire-cutter, stripper, crimper multi-tool, but I think a pair of needlenose pliers would do a good job.
