Default Polished stainless engine bolts...

Had my engine built, and apparently the mechanic didn't hear me when I said I wanted to use new bolts, as he reinstalled the original faded looking bolts in my shiny new motor.

Bought a polished stainless bolt kit (non critical bolts - ie: no head bolts or anything similar) and I figure I'll go through and replace them myself.

Anyone see a problem with doing this one bolt at a time? Essentially, I'll pull a bolt and replace it with the new one and loctite/torque to spec as I go.

I can't see any reason this should present a problem but thought I'd ask in case someone else has experience here and wants to warn me against it

I see no issues doing this.

Doing it that way is fine. Mine had stainless bolts when I bought it, but they needed a good polish. I've been pulling them out, polishing them, and putting them back in.

I did it this way when I had my Dyna. Just use a calibrated torque wrench.

no problem at all, do one at a time, loc tite them and tq them to spec... i like to lay each parts bolts out in a row so they go in right and in the correct order (primary for example) loc tite them all and go down the row.
