Rear shock length 2011 Fxdc?
Is 12 inches, correct?

My 2012 FXDC is 12". Going any higher lifts the bike more than the shock length because of the angle mounting points.

Yes 12" is stock. There are many running 12.5 and 13" with very happy results. I run 12.5 ricors and love them.

My '09 had 12.6" shocks too, I think they changed them in '10 or '11 to 12", same as on the Street Bob.

The FXD, FXDC and FXDWG had 12.6 inch shocks from 06 to 09 (wg 06-08).
