The hub should be the same I have been trying.to search for the exact answer. As for the axle size I am reading mixed things on your axle size. Best bet is to measure it up. The od of both bearing weather it's 1 or 3/4 is the same so worse case you get a new set of bearings. What color are you going to powder them? Coating my mags soon too.

axles are both 3/4 but 99 has Timken tapered bearings so you will need new spacers to put those wheels on. also does your bike have speedo driven off front wheel?the 03 wheels are not set up for that .thanks pete

@ matto 371 going to powder coat them black also my bike only has single disk so my friend mentioned to powder coat the side without the disk also

@ bigPete1 ya I figured would have to change spacing but my speedo is digital so should be good there. Now do you have any tips on figuring out what spacing size will be needed? Or just test fit and measure?
Thanks 99dynafxd

If the hub is a different size you may need to start with spacing out the brake calipers to get the wheel centered first. I found myself a couple of 5mm washers to mock it all up. Then measure and go from there.
