I had a pair of kuryakyn on my fat bob. road from florida to ky in pouring rain and no issues pretty loud. I had a shied on the bike that might have helped. The were like 300 but iI think you get what you pay for most of the time. traded fatbob for street glide and sold speakers to a bud 2 years ago , he is still rocking them.

Buddy has them. They get the job done, but start distorting when cranked up to high.

i use an mp3 player and the JVC marshmellow type earphones which help produce more bass and they stay in your ears so you dont have to turn them up super loud and you can still hear whats around you.
