Default Mustang squareback installed! Initial thoughts..

Hey guys,

Got my Mustang Squareback in the mail today and installed it!

The seat feels GREAT. I've only taken it for a 2 mile test drive, but from what I can tell, it feels awesome. The lower back support is really cool and keeps you firmly planted in the seat. It definitely feels far better then the stock Wide Glide seat that I had on there. The only thing I've noticed is that I seem to sit a tad bit higher since my feet are no longer flat footed. Not necessarily a bad thing, just different.

For only $300 shipped to my door, I don't think you can do any better.

So, with that being said, I'm going to have the stock Wide Glide solo seat and wider passenger seat for sale soon.

Anyway, here are a few pictures since there are little to none of this seat on a Dyna.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the rider is 13" wide and passenger is 8" wide. Feels pretty good.

Thanks guys. I'm going out of town for a few days and the weather has just been horrendous as of late so I won't be taking her out for a ride for at least another week. =( makes me sad!

To the OP: did you order the seat directly from Mustang? How long did it take to receive the seat after you ordered it?

Thanks.

Looks like it would provide just as much back support as having the back rest. Plus you have the added piece of mind not having to worry about someone snatching up your back rest when your ride is left unattended.
