Default 2014 Fat Bob growing on anyone else?

The more I see the "boat tail" rear end in person, the more I dig it- looks kind of sporty. I've always liked the Fat Bob for the wide tires and dual disc front brakes, too. Just saw this Conley's fairing on Ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/FXDF-T-Sport...000226&vxp=mtr

I'd love to see a 2014 done properly with mids, bags, risers or tbars, and either one of those fairings or a Dougz, which is also cool. Now if I can just resist buying one and starting this whole process over again...

Anyone else digging this more over the last couple of months?

I've tried to like it but the bug hasn't bitten me yet. Reminds me of a mid eighties GSXR.. retro styling can be cool but personally not sure if this qualifies. I'll probably come round eventually & end up buying one someday, so don't take me too seriously!

I sat on one at the dealership last weekend. The looks make me think of the overcome from breeding a 48, VROD, and Wide Glide together. The GM at the dealership give me a little education about the bike - apparently the recessed LED tail light was designed by Ducati. I don't know if he was jerking my chain, but he seemed to know his stuff. He along with another salesman preached about how great the handling is. I'd like to ride one during a demo day for sure.

I put a 2014 rear end on my 2010 Fat Bob. It was so new when I ordered all the parts that even Harley themselves didn't know all the correct part numbers.

I love the look of the fender now. The older Fat Bob fender was too long, IMO. The new one give it a more sportier and compact look.

I'd love to get a set of cortech sport throw overs for when I need them, but heard they don't make them anymore.

I'll admit I had to do a 180 when I finally saw one in person. It looks indeed sportier than previous generation. But I still like my mile long looking fencer on my 13.

I like it...my dealer has one & it's grown on me for sure. I've even rode it.
The new fender fits the overall theme of the bike better...it's supposed to look sporty, and IMO it does. I also like the black wheels on the '14...should have been like this to begin with.

The fender has a bit of the Mad Max feel to me. Overall I want this bike. Was talking to a salesman the other day, and he was telling me the redesign was to help pull in the 20 to 30 sport bike crowd. I'm like well here I am and the GSXR is in the parking lot. Going to take a look and test ride a camo denim when I get in from work next week. If the price is right I'll be sure to post pictures.

I've rode about every current model of bike HD makes....the Fat Bob is easily the best handling bike in the current HD lineup, period.
Hope it works out for ya, and yes post pics if it does.
The one my dealer has is that color...sand camo denim.
