I just bought an 06 S.B. with wire wheels and original tires. Can someone tell me if tubes were used in the tubeless tires on this model? Thanks in advance.

 

Are they HD wheels ? Hard tellin what the last owner did.

 

Yes, stock wheels, chrome spokes. I suspect there are tubes in the tires but don't know if HD started sealing their rims that year so tubeless tires with no tubes could be used.

 

You can run tubes in anything if you want

 

Yes, but would rather run tubeless if possible. Am asking so I can go ahead and buy tubes ahead of a planned tire change.

Good rule of thumb is if you see spoke, assume tubes.
