Default Tank liner

I'm getting my t-sport painted and when I took the tank off, I noticed the liner is bubbling. Is this table screwed?

if you have your tank paintedpersonally i would remove it completely, no point to have it in there if you tank does not leak. any radiator shop would remove that for really cheap

Might take a dental mirror and a small flashlight and take a look around in the tank ..but yeah ..its not that hard to do if you can follow directions ..

No need for a dental mirror it obviously needs some attention before it gets worse

So your saying I should just remove it and not worry about putting a new liner in?

I have never had much success re-coating a tank. Take the old liner out and keep the tank full of gas during storage.
