Default Bad & G Saddlebag conversion

Hi Guys,

My first post here on the Dyna forum, i`m really enjoying the heck out of my first Dyna, after having had a Road King and Street Glide previously.

Dont know what it is but this bike has way more appeal to me that either of my previous tourers did.

I`ve managed to snap up a set of Bad & G saddlebags used here in Oz, they are the soft version of these bags and i thought they needed some more strength.

I`ve made hard inserts for them out of Di-Bond, this had really helped them keep their shape. The inner inserts are tight fitting and hold strong without any adhesion.
On the flaps i have double sided taped some di-bond on there, this has really stopped them moving around at speed.

Have lots of mods planned for this bike, at least i have the bags sorted now and couldn`t be happier with them.

Looks good, not a bad idea. I also stepped away from baggers to a dyna....so far so good

Nice addition, plus functional (which always appeals to me)! Saddlebags fit nicely with the bike in my opinion.

Cheers Guys,

Yeah it was a pretty simple upgrade to make these bags rigid.

I basically made up a template from cardboard and cut the di-bond on our bandsaw.
I have a CNC router but it was just quicker to cut the inserts free hand on the bandsaw.
