Default Front turn signals staying lit?

Ok so I have what is most likely a stupid question but after a little searching I could not find the answer...The other day I installed new bars and relocated front turn signals to the triple trees. Today I installed the sissy bar quick release kit along with rear turn relocation kit, I turned on the bike after install to make sure the blinkers flashed correctly and noticed the front turn signals stay lit up as if they are marker lights.

I have yet to notice that the front turn signals stay lit up constantly, I am thinking when they were on the bars I never noticed it but I am assuming this is normal or did I get a wire crossed somewhere?

Thanks for any help...lol

If they are they 1156 bulbs, or 1157? Id also check to see if they change based on you hitting the signal...

When they were on the bars, you probably didn't notice they were illuminated...standard set-up for HD.

Also, if u don't want them to be running lights there's 2 options. 1- a piece of tape over one of the contacts on the bulb (trial and error) 2- there should be 3 wires to the front sigs, black, purple and blue. When I relocated mine to the forks I just didn't splice the BLUE wire, and no running lights.

Awesome, thanks guys! Yeah I kind of figured I just never noticed it when they were on the bars.

Also thanks for the tips on eliminating the running lights! I think I will leave em as is, the more visibility I can give others the better off I am.

Well I've only ridden like twice at night and I wasn't focused on the turn signals, lol
