Default Sticky white stuff in breather tubes...

Well I dont think I've ever seen anything as weird as what I found last night... I was disassembling my AC to put on a new one from DK. When I got to the part where I pulled the hoses off the bolts, this wet stuff popped out across the support plate. It looked just like water but, upon looking at the tube closely there was a build-up of this milky white sticky stuff. It has the consistency of a lube or oil... the other tube had the same thing, like a water dripping out then a residue of that stuff. Looking inside the bolts, and into the housing, I couldn't really see anything like that in there so, not sure where it came from or what it could be. I'm about ready to have it sent off for a DNA sample... maybe then I can get some answers...

Engine is not getting up to full opperating temp. Its just condensation in your oil. This is one reason you are not supposed to fire your engine up and shut it down before it warms up.

Have you checked your oil level?
My guess is there is too much oil and blowing into in the AC.
There is some kind of moisture or condensation which is causing the residual oil to be milky white.
Maybe not running up to full temp?

You'll see the same thing if you run your breathers to a container most times.

Coolant leak... haha yeah right.
I guess the temp thing makes sense. I have taken it out on a couple short rides, its freezing here. But they have been longer than 15 min, so I'd think it'd warm up a bit. But I suppose thats the only cause right?

Don't worry too much about it. It is definitely moisture in your oil but in the winter you have to get it really hot for at least 30 mins to really evaporate out all the moisture. I have the same problem this time of year because my ride to work is 5 minutes. That's why every couple of days I make sure to take her for a long ride to get rid of that ****. Good idea to change your oil after winter though too. And always use synthetic.
