Default Non traditional luggage options

Ok so i'm planning a little 3500km trip in a few weeks and while I travel light I will need to carry some basic tools, clothes, FAK, toiletries etc etc.

I currently have the Kuryakyn custom roll bag and it's perfect, easy on on and off and fits quite a bit of gear.

The question is what removable luggage options are out there for me given that:
A) I run a solo seat all the time so a sissy var is out
B) I despise saddle bags

The only option i've come across is the harley swing arm bag but it's not really ideal

So what luggage are you running?

Default Bike bag

For extra carry on space I use a Saddleman tunnel bag mounted on my HD luggage rack. The luggage rack gives you allot more options.
I use the smaller of the two tunnel bags availible.

I've been using the Raven soft bag for several years now. Very well made. Not sure if it's large enough to carry what you need, but it's worth a look.

A lot easier if you have a sissy bar like Jim Bronson.

Now if you really want to be non-traditional, and have a thick skin, you can always use a backpack.

I used a backpack for a year, on my first bike. Always felt like a dork, and that is why I love saddlebags. In WI you always have to carry Spring, Summer and Winter gear. You might use all 3 in one day.

If you want to run a solo seat, you need to get a MoCo detachable solo luggage rack. Then Tbags will have options for bags to strap down to that rack. Could also work out as a decent back rest for the long ride. I used to put a sleeping bag on the rear seat for that reason.

We also have some roll bags available if thats really considered non traditional. http://www.vikingbags.com/motorcycle-roll-bags.htm

Haha, back in the days when I had to move my stuff, I used to bungee down a gym bag... You could say that's really untraditional.

I'm not one to pack things on a clean fender.
I would consider doing some research for removable rack.
But that's me.

I haven't gone on a trip with it yet, but I recently picked up one of these as well. If you also get the small bag that clips on top, you can actually sandwich a bag between the bottom and top bags. This will give you quite a bit of room.

I have a Motherwell rack on my Bob. The Raven bag fits well over the rack.

Thanks for the feedback so far guys it's much appreciated.

I ride 160km every day rain hail or shine so strapping to a bare fender doesn't worry me as my paint is pretty well worn already.
