Default Street Bob detachables question

Hey folks,

It's a long story, but after a 6 year fling with the touring models, I'm back on a Street Bob where I belong. Part of the deal has the dealer installing the detachable luggage rack with the pillion that attaches to it (pn 52689-09).

After a search for pics of what this will actually look like, I was unimpressed with how the turn signal/license plate relocation makes the rear look - specifically how low the plate falls below the chopped fender, making basically un-chopped, and the black round bar looking brackets that leave the turn signals hanging out in space.

Has anybody done anything with the rear end to maintain the clean stock look while still allowing the use of detachable racks or sissy bars?

Go with the solid permanent luggage rack.

If you do some searches for turn signal and/or license plate relocation, you'll see SLV and Sqid's two methods for attacking the problem. Nice and clean.
