It really wasn't that bad. I took my time. After every three wraps or so I would grab the loops and twist tight. The first pipe I did was the rear and I wire tied a small piece horizontally just at the crossover to get good coverage where it stubs out toward front pipe. Didn't need to with the crossover on the front pipe. I was careful to get tight near the O2 sensor stubs. I used two stainless wires, 1mm,(19gauge), wrapped good and tight to secure at each end of the pipes....would you recommend more wire?

How has it held up? Can we get any photos of the whole bike? I've been debating doing this for a couple months now. Was worried if it would void the warranty though.

About a month after I posted this I decided to head in a different direction with my bike. I removed the black wrap and re-wrapped white with some cheaper wrap I found on ebay. I can't comment on the warranty question as I don't know. Wrap seems to hold up fine, takes on character as it ages. I'll be changing the white spring seat to a mustang black and brown cyclone this week and adding full fenders (FLD) in the near future. Also considering retro bubble bags.

Looks better than I thought it would tbh. I was thinking of my welded FXDF stock exhaust when I read your title and expected to see crap. Why not just use hose clamps to secure the wrap?

Hose clamps would have looked too crowded with the head pipe clamps.
