Default wrapped stock pipes

Used DEI 2" Black. Started from muffler and worked up to motor. I decided to try while pipes were on the bike and worked out fine as far as I'm concerned. Soaked the wrap a few minuets in water and wrapped while pulling as tight as possible. Used stainless steel wire to secure. wire used was 1mm (19 gauge).

Thanks. We'll see how long it lasts. All but one google search said to take the pipes off. If it loosens up I can rewrap with the pipes off. Feels really tight after a burn in run and cool down. Anybody here done 'em without removing pipes?

I wrapped my 09 street bob stock on bike like you. Had my brother help me. Pain in the **** but we did it and glad I did. Used same wire as you too. Haven't had any any problems and its been about 8 months
