Default Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather Install

One of my winter projects with a few pictures of show and tell.

I like to take my time with things and enjoy the time/process of working on it. So Id say this a 3 beer job. When I started I had no intention of finishing it in the same sitting and had planned to just lay it out and pull the old AC off. All in all was about 1.5 hrs.

Very simple install and everything went very smooth with no surprises.

Hope you enjoy!

I just installed this kit last night and noticed an extra plug that was in the back of the stock breather backplate. What did you end up doing with that wire after you installed the SE Heavy breather kit? I'd like to put a cover on it and tuck it under the tank, but wasn't sure what it was for or if I'd ever need access to it.

I cant remember exactly what its for. But I do remember that it isn't needed so just tuck it somewhere and zip tie it in place and forget about it.

Great air cleaner and I like the way the snorkel is out of the way of your knee.

It looks great on your bike. Now change your signature photo to the "new" look.

Just did the install on my 2014 48. The Chrome Breather (bolt) Plugs have a flat just behind the head before the 1st o-ring groove. Does this flat have something to do w/ letting air in & out (breathing)? Also, where should it be positioned - what position on a clock should it be positioned?

Great job on the install. Not to hijack thread but...Does anyone here know what parts are different between the SE Heavy Air Breather for 2007 Street Bob and 2008 Street Glide? Both motors are 96 inch.
