Ordered the puller/installer from Amazon and was wondering. Do I need to remove rear pulley? Doesn't really say anything in manual about the rear bearings. Going to the stealer to get bearings and need to know if I should get pulley bolts as well?

 

My '03 Service Manual shows the removal of the rear wheel bearings with the brake disk still mounted to the hub and does not say anything on the removal of the pulley.

If you remove both pulley and disk my advise would be to discard the old bolts and to mount fresh ones.

 

When I remove my Pulley for Powder I am calling ARP for optional replacements, or am gonna find a suitable proper Grade Button head bolt at the industrial supply house to replace the ugly stock bolts.
