New Bags and Tail Lights

New Bags and Tail Lights
I finally got around to installing my bags and new tail light setup. I have a little trip to NC this weekend and pushed myself to getting it done.
The tail light is a home made bracket with six X-Arc lights from High Tech Speed It wasn't a cheap process, but they are bright individually. I figured, because they are so small, six of them should let the local knuckleheads see me from behind. The arrangement is very bright.
I also added some bags from Viking using Barebacks from Cycle Vision (bought used from forum member O.F. Thanks O. F. !)
It took me most of today, but I got everything installed. Luckily I already had the inner struts brackets from some junk I bought. I had no idea the Barebacks use a 3.8" fastener instead of the stock 5/16".
All in all, it looks good, is functional and the bags come off in 10 seconds.

Keep in mind, I just installed them today. I'll post a review after my 700 mile weekend.

I bought the $99 versions. The $149 lights flash yellow but use red for run/brake. I didn't need the yellow, so I saved some money.

Thanks guys. I finally learned to try and do things ONCE and not spend money doing things over (except I'll buy LeatherPro bags some day, but they are expensive.)
Here are a couple close-ups of the light. I went to the trouble of making a custom wiring harness with a loom to protect it. Everything is contained in one wrapped and sealed loom.
