Default What bearings/spacers to fit 2010 mags to 2007 FXDB

I have searched and there are about 50 conflicting threads on this.

2007 Street Bob, 1" axle size

Got a set of Mags from a 2010 FXD with rotor, 25mm axle size.

I know the older bearings are double row and thicker, the newer aren't as thick and somebody mentioned to get these bearings: http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PROD/Kit7940 to make it work.

My question is, with those bearings, what else needs to be done? What spacers, etc? Isn't there a spacer inside the wheel between the two bearings?

From what I remember you will need custom spacers after you get the bearings from them. Best way is to call VBX tell them what your factory specs are on the stock 1" bearing. They have a bearing that will fit the 1" axel and have the same width of the 25mm HD bearing for the newer Dynas. Sorry I don't know what the part number is of hand I'm sure its on one of those many threads.

Well, to follow up. Any quick visual way to tell what year mags are from? Buddy bought a set, obviously the 2006+ style but not sure any way to tell if they are 06/07 or 08+

Not sure if there are part numbers under the tires
