Default The Widest Wide Glide in history.

Well folks I finally got a round to putting the Fat *** hard saddle bags on my 99 Wide Glide. Now she is REALLY wide. I know WGs aren't suppose to be wide but I think she will be unique when she is finished.

I still have to mount the tail pipes and put some paint on them.

I LOVE it. What do ya'll think?

Looks good. I'm going with bags on my wide glide as well. What bag brackets are you using?

Steve I bought the cheapo ones off eBay that are designed for a soft tail. I was really surprised how close they were. I just had to cut off the mounting tabs and relocate them to fit my rear fender bolts. Then I had to massage the front mounting points a little.

If I had a pipe bender I could probably make a set thet would bolt right up to a WG.

It's gonna be bitchin! I'm surprised those brackets tuck the bags in that close, on a Softail the bags sit out at least an inch further. Did you have any problems with seat clearance? do you plan to run duals?
