Default 2014 Street Bob Update

Burly front suspension complete. Fairly easy install. I also installed fork boots which were a pain in the *** to install! Haha, had to take off the front fender, brake caliper, and front wheel. The tough part was then getting the boot up the forks. Used some lube! Anyway the bike looks amazing with the new set up! Love it. So low! Planning on relocating the turn sigs this weekend and painting bullets black gloss. Any tips on wiring for the 2014 model please let me know.

Cut the signal wires as flush as you can to the bars. You can push the tiny excess of wire back into the switch housing.
Under the neck locate the 2 unused female conectors .... go to HD dealer buy a $2 male sig wire clips. Wire them up. Locate them where you want.

Easy

Sweet sounds easier than the instructions I printed!

Open a warm garage and let the cold temps come in.

They are chrome they just look that way in the pic because of the moisture.

And to comment on some PM's
The wires are under the neck of the bike ... under a plastic flap that needs to be removed first.
I found it easier to remove the tank bolts and slide the tank to the rear a bit to get more room.

I found the two female connectors. There is a white and a black one. Are these what you wire too? Also do I run three wires from each signal to the female? This is a lot tougher than I thought it would be

Turn signals, plate bracket, stems all epoxied. Reinstall to happen tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing them on!

Fork boots aren't hard to slide on, you got to use a lot of silicone spray tho.
How are you making out with front turn location? PM me if you are in trouble.
