I know this has been discussed and I've been racking my brain!!! I have a 01 FXD narrow glide 39mm and would like to convert to a Wide Glide. I was just going to buy the Wide Glide triple tree conversion but I do have some "pitting" on my lower sliders so I thought what about converting to a 41mm wide glide! Does anyone know what I would need to do this or is there somewhere that I can buy a complete front end that will bolt up to my FXD? A little extra rake would be nice too but nothing crazy!

I use a 2000 Wide Glide front end on my 2005 Super Glide...there's really no extra rake involved.

 

I bought a used 2005 Night Train front end complete with wheel axle and spacers for 750.00 , and had no issue installing.
