Default Fat Bob winter mods

Picked her up end of June last year and rode her stock except for the short shots. Knew right away I needed new bars so I went with BR Custom 1.5" open apes. Great people to deal with, long wait but it's a long winter here. Did the heavy breather, front turn signals, new grips and levers.
Sorry about the back round, 3 feet of snow outside...

Looks good man. I love the apes, I just don't like riding with them on the highway. You gonna get a tuner?

Also just a suggestion, sell those pipes on craigslist or kijiji (you'll get $300) and get something that is actually going to give you power. My experience with the short shots was full of sound and fury but yielded no results at the back wheel - it'll be especially bad now with your heavy breather in the absence of a tune.

Thanks, will be keeping the short shots for now. Got a tuner on there just need the snow to melt so I can ride and test it out.

Nice! I can tell you those short shots are ruining your performance. When I did my build I was using short shots and my tuner had one hell of a time to get it somewhat tuned. Sold the shots on Craigslist for 250 and bought my current pipes. Was a night and day difference once tuned! I know they look and sound good, but when you can afford old recommend changing it up.

Also, love the apes!

Looks great, (although I'm partial to those bars) as I have the same ones!
