Default Trask Power Pacc II

Hello, anyone running this air cleaner setup? From my understanding Trask bought out Doherty Machine and did a few improvements on the design. I have done alot of reading on air cleaner setups and I have not heard of this one till tonight.

I would not believe those horsepower gains unless it is injecting nitrous oxide somehow. More snakeoil I would say.

I wouldn't call it complete bullshit, the arlen ness big sucker claims their a/c can add up to a 21% increase in hp....8 hp is a 12% increase, which is a little far fetched but u never know..

I have looked at this setup in the past and have been tempted to try it since it will bypass the oil blowby....

if you pull the trigger, write up a review for us.....

Will do, I am getting all my stage 1 upgrades researched and thought out. Trask does provide a Dyno sheet for the claimed gains. I thought there would be more reviews on the system.

Just look up reviews for the Doherty Power Pac. It's the same thing.

I've got one on my Ultra and it's a nice piece of equipment.

That AC kit made the most Torque on my 88" 1994 EVO build. 98TQ 101HP. Now I run one on my 2013 RG custom, just haven't made it to the dyno yet. Nice piece though.. as far as a comparison. My dad put one on his 2010 RG, replaced the big sucker.... he had to run it without the venturi just to get it to the dyno. It was taking in more air than the tune was ready for. So there is some gains in that venturi insert design. My experience... 2cent

That is not a photograph of a real dyno sheet. That is a computer generated graph. It neither proves nor evidences anything. They could have filled in any figures they wanted.

To date, I have not seen a single shred of evidence to support the superiority of one high flow air cleaner over another. They are all better than stock, and all perform about the same as each other.

Looks like a more compact and refined( cleaner breather setup) dk customs air cleaner. Didn't see a cost. I personally don't like round but would still buy a dk custom air cleaner over this if I had to choose.
