Calling all who modified Batwing with quick release clamps
In the process of cleaning out my garage I found my old hacked up windshield with the harley quick release clamps. i want to mod my MS batwing to use the clamps but am having a difficult time envisioning how I want to do that.
If anyone has done this mod can you post some pics of your brackets and some rough dimensions / how-to?
Thanks.

I'm in the process of doing this with a Street Glide style fairing. Mock it up with some stiff plastic. You can buy this from a Lowes or Home Depot type store or cut up some old tupperware. Easy to cut and drill and stiff enough to let you get the fit correct before you make some out of steel or aluminum. For my FatBob the fairing lined up with the bolt position on the Harley Quick clamp. Basically it is a flat plate cut to shape with holes drilled.

Here is my set-up..
I used the Memphis Shades model MEM7011 fairing with custom made brackets, HD quick release clamps
and a Clearview 14" recurved windshield. I fitted a generic aftermarket 7" headlight, and relocated the turn
signals to the forks.
I believe some people have used the MS brackets, but I wanted to have a range of vertical adjustment
on mine so my set has slots that allow me to move it up or down. Frankly, I don't think that really was
worthwhile; just clamping it a little higher or lower is fine..
FWIW..

Do the trigger locks work really good? I'm looking at getting one of the batwings but I don't want any hardware left behind. Also I'd like to put a stereo or ipod interface and speakers in it. Is there away for a quick disconnect for that as well? Is there an inner fairing for the memphis shades batwing?
